You can know the status of your PAN application by using the 15-digit acknowledgment number that you received after submitting your application. Just visit the official website where you applied and use this number to track your PAN application status.

I got to know that I can check my PAN card status through different methods, like with an acknowledgement number, by Aadhaar card, by calling the TIN NSDL application centre, by SMS, through Date of birth, name, and through speed post.

Now I can easily track my PAN card application with the help of the NSDL or UTIITSL website by entering my PAN number and date of birth/ Incorporation/ agreement. With a captcha code, I can see my PAN card status easily from the NSDL website.

You will be given a 15-digit acknowledgement number or a tracking ID after you complete your PAN card application, known as a tracking number. Using these numbers, you can easily follow the status of your PAN card application. You can learn about the progress of your application, such as the shipment date, expected delivery date, dispatch date, etc., from the Income Tax Department.

You can typically track your PAN card application status 3 to 7 days after it has been submitted. For tracking the application status, you can visit the official website of the Income Tax Department of India and enter your details such as your application number, application type, and a captcha.

I can tell you one very easy way to know your PAN application status. Simply send an SMS to 57575 by adding the message NSDL PAN space <your acknowledgement number>. This way, you don't need to follow any complex procedure.

You will get a tracking ID or a 15-digit acknowledgement number in your email when you submit your application. You need to visit the official NSDL or UTIITSL (basically the website from which you have applied for your PAN card). Enter this number there, and you will be able to check the current status of your application as well as the dispatch details when it will be sent to you.

I applied for my PAN card online, and once I was done, I got a confirmation mail that included a tracking number. I used that tracking number on the official NSDL website and checked the status of my PAN card application untill I got it delivered at my address.
